David Zachry

President and CEO

DAVID S. ZACHRY, P.E., is the Chief Executive Officer of Zachry Corporation. He has worked for Zachry since 1986 and is a third generation Zachry in the company founded by his grandfather H. B. “Pat” Zachry in 1924.

His work experience at Zachry has been a progression of assignments in the highway, petrochemical, power, and pipeline industries. In 1996 he was named President of the Civil Group. In August 2004 he assumed the responsibilities of President and Chief Operating Officer of Zachry Construction Corporation.

In January 2008 he was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Zachry Corporation. In December 2011 he assumed responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer of Zachry Corporation. He also participates on the Board of Directors of many subsidiaries and affiliated companies. David is married and has three children.

VP of North Texas Operations

GARY DOTY's career with Zachry began as a carpenter in 1988 and progressed through foreman, superintendent, project manager and project director throughout Texas, North Carolina and most recently as the Project Director of the Grand Parkway Segments F-1, F-2 and G project. Doty's knowledge, leadership skills and grounded and practical approach have made him an integral part of Zachry's success.

Ranjeet Gadhoke


VP of Project Controls

In 2006, RANJEET GADHOKE began working with Zachry as a consultant in Houston, Texas. His leadership skills earned him a promotion to Project Control Support Director. After serving as Project Engineer on several projects in San Antonio, he led the implementation of the ERP system which is now used throughout the company for cost and accounting controls. Gadhoke’s success will continue as he is now an expert and can help others in his field.

Vivian Garza-Steele


VP and Controller

VIVIAN GARZA-STEELE is Vice President and Controller for Zachry Construction Corporation in San Antonio, TX.

Vivian has been employed at Zachry since 1980 and is responsible for the accounting operations of the company and its subsidiaries. She also oversees the administration and compliance of the company’s defined contribution and welfare plans.

Vivian received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Vivian is a member of the San Antonio Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA) and has served as President of the CFMA San Antonio Chapter.

VP and Controller

BRYAN GOLLA has worked on Zachry's special projects in Corporate Accounting since 2000 including International Operations, taking part in a variety of U.S. embassy projects.

Travis Mross


Executive Vice President of Operations

TRAVIS MROSS began his career at Zachry Construction in 2000 as an intern, earned his engineering degree in 2002 from the Colorado School of Mines and started as a Field Engineer on the SH 45 project in Austin. Over the years he has worked on a variety of projects continuously growing his role from Project Engineer to Area Manager. Mross is one of the youngest managers to become a Vice President at Zachry Construction.

Tara Snowden

TARA Snowden

VP of Public and Governmental Affairs

TARA SNOWDEN is responsible for all public relations, media communication, political and regulatory issue development and strategy, management of the Company’s political action committee, lobbying, and corporate philanthropy. Tara is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. After serving on the staff for a State Senator, Tara went to work for City Public Service in San Antonio in their government affairs group. She began working for Zachry on June 26, 2006 as government relations representative. Her hard work and professionalism have resulted in significant successes for Zachry and continued support of the company’s operations and reputation.

Kevin Walters


VP and Chief Information Officer (CIO)

KEVIN WALTERS began working at Zachry in 2001 in the IT Department as an Application Development Manager, overseeing program development and information technology. Walters has enjoyed a diverse set of roles throughout his career with Zachry building the IT Department for Zachry Corporation from the ground up following the Zachry re-organization in 2008. This effort has included the technology merger of Zachry Construction Corporation, Capitol Aggregates and Zachry Hospitality. Now, as Vice President and CIO, Walters’s plans to advance Zachry’s technology systems and software applications to meet the needs of todays increasingly digitized worksite.

Cody Webb


VP and General Counsel

CODY WEBB has been with Zachry Construction Corporation since October 2006, and currently serves as Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to joining Zachry, Cody spent 10 years in private practice, advising clients primarily in the areas of construction law, independent power projects, and corporate law. Cody graduated Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University School of Law.

Jason Westenskow

VP and Human Resources

JASON WESTENSKOW is the Vice President of Human Resources of Zachry Corporation.  In his role, Jason’s responsibilities include oversight for HR Team that provides talent management, training, employee relations, benefits programs, compensation, and the employee assistance program. Jason joined the company in September 2015.  He is a graduate of Utah State University “Go Aggies” and received his MBA from Weber State University. 

He is a 21-year human resources veteran who brings extensive experience to the position including over ten years with Frito-Lay / PepsiCo.  Jason will also be focused on improving the company’s employee engagement level to further improve productivity and help make Zachry the best place to work.  He is married with four daughters and one small male dog.

Vice President and Regional Manager

SAM WHITE began his career at Zachry Construction while in high school as an Electrical Helper in the Kwajalein Atoll which is part of the Marshall Islands. Sam has held numerous positions and worked on many successful projects. Sam's extensive field knowledge and background enable him to add value in many areas. He has helped improve our operational efficiencies and, most importantly, has fostered strong relationships at all levels of our company. Sam also has responsibilities for Central Texas and Zachry Underground and Utility Services (ZUUS).
