CA - Fresno Meeting to Precede High-Speed Rail Work

With construction beginning soon on the high-speed rail project's first segment through the Central Valley, planners have scheduled an open house in Fresno Nov. 13 to tell the public all about it.


The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rio Vista Middle School gymnasium at 6240 W. Palo Alto Ave.


During the meeting, representatives of the California High-Speed Rail Authority will join the engineering team of Tutor Perini/Zachry/Parsons to provide information about the first 29-mile segment of the high-speed rail project.


Among the topics will be design, right of way and small business and employment opportunities as Tutor Perini/Zachry/Parsons begins work on the Construction Package 1 segment.
