The Avondale-Haslet Project is a TxDOT managed project for the City of Haslet connecting the existing Avondale-Haslet Parkway to IH-35W at the SH170 and IH-35W Interchange to create a corridor from SH-170 to SH 287. The Project also connect and extends the existing Intermodal Parkway to IH-35 and SH170 to create better accessibility for freight around nearby Alliance Airport. Phase 2 of the project has been under a utility delay since 2022 and will likely be removed from the contract.
