On Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Grayson County U.S. Highway 75 Widening Project located North of Dallas. The approximately $154 million project will consist of elevating US 75 main lanes from floodplain, widening the freeway and reconstruction of bridges. The widening includes US 75 from F.M. 1417 to State Highway 91 from four lanes to six, with work on frontage roads and ramps at US75 and U.S. Highway 82.
